Drifting

It's already nearly the end of January, and this is quickly turning into a ghostblog (Wait can I copyright that term?). My suspicions are that most blogs are sparsely read anyway, with only a handful making it to the top of the pyramid.

As my efforts have been directed toward contemplation toward the future and working away on other issues unrelated to trading, I've been thinking more long-term. And I don't mean holding long-term investments, but taking baby steps toward something bigger. Taking steps toward real wealth creation, or at least serious coin collecting.

I had mentioned Covester in my last post, but the limited scope of the program (i.e. no options) and nebulous ranking algorithm makes me want to concentrate on something more concrete. One idea I've had is to prove to myself, and perhaps to least those within my immediate circle, my trading acumen by offering a free one-year newsletter service highlighting trading opportunities. I can't officially give "advice" for legal reasons, as dumb as that is.

For some reason, I am able to make great projections about one month ahead of market events-- GOOG tanking for instance(which it FINALLY did lately). By embracing more of a mid-term (a week or more) time frame, I hope to be able to deliver solid results to those in my mailing list for the next year...or better yet, announce my trade predictions live here.

Should be interesting...

Stay tuned...
